Rest-assured, whilst our name has changed we have not. We are still the same small, bespoke and personal Tour Operator, but we can now take you further and on holidays for a lifetime.
Fish&Pips had their annual board meeting in Zakynthos, in the Greek islands - a perfect week in the sun - with not a mention of work, lots of lovely sunshine, swimming in the sea and delicious cocktails courtesy of The Peligoni Club. If you haven't heard of it, then definitely look them up. Following the same F&P ethos of great service it is a real find. The Club has been around over 20 years - you book a villa through them and can then opt for membership at the Club usually less than a 10 minute drive away depending on your villa.
We rented a great old farmhouse, a hilgalty pigalty mix of rooms - perfect for our three families, allowing enough space so as not to worry about babies waking each other up, whilst still staying in the same place. We had a fantastic swimming pool overlooking the sea and out to neighbouring Kephalonia. Days were spent by the pool, at the Club, on paddle boards, sailing Darts and even the odd waterski. Evenings started with an Ameretto Sour at the club whilst the kids ate their tea, then they were shipped into buggies to go to bed while we sampled some of the delicious Greek cuisine in nearby Tavernas.
The staff at the club were nothing but charming - chatty, interesting and excellent at their jobs. Nothing was too much trouble - Harri does an amazing job on recruiting such a great group and F&P are looking out for any of her team that are interested in a winter season!
