January Skiing

January skiing at its best; empty pistes, fresh new snow, and a sunny day for Judy and I as we went for our first (of many I hope) ski together. The cloud was hanging in the valley, evidence of the snow that had stopped falling that morning – just in time for the lifts to open and for us to hit the slopes. What a stunning day, it was one of those days when I thought how lucky we are to be out here in the mountains and how it is so easy to take it all for granted! Total mountain appreciation, particularly for the staggeringly beautiful Three Valley Ski Area. The views that day were the best I have seen in years, I hope the photos do it justice. Just thought I would share with you some of the joys of a beautiful ski day in my favourite place in the world…
