No this isn’t a late Christmas blog. This is a blog about January and February skiing …. empty pistes, lower prices, crisp mornings, bluebird days and powder .. you cannot beat it!
For our amazing resort team who have worked so hard throughout the Christmas and New Year period (and continue to do so) the last few weeks have been the chance for them to make the most of the conditions and remind themselves of one of the main reasons they are here .. to enjoy the mountain!! (Coming a close second to looking after our lovely guests of course).
While January in the UK includes little other than grey rainy days, the long wait until pay day, health kicks and Dry January (yawn) .. those who have headed out the Alps over the last few weeks have definitely made the right choice, as I’m sure our very happy guests would agree!
It snowed hard over night in Meribel and Val d’Isere last night with plenty more expected to fall over the weekend, so as we head into the equally enjoyable Spring Ski season make sure you take advantage of our remaining availability if you haven’t already!
