28 / 29 November – ICE Accommodation from just £325pp
ICE course special!
We have worked closely with ICE for a few years now providing amazingly priced accommodation for their students heading out to Val d’Isere at the start of the season. The combination of their intensive courses and our catered service has always worked exceptionally well for ICE students.
You are put through your paces on the slopes all day, but have the luxury of returning to the chalet for some well-deserved R&R that evening. Our team will look after your every need and ensure you are set up for the day with a hearty and healthy breakfast; afternoon tea is ready for you when you get back to the chalet followed by a 4 course high-end meal prepared by one of our experienced chefs. All of our properties are exceptionally well located in the centre of Val d’Isere and literally no further than 100 metres from the main lifts which makes getting to and from the slopes. This convenience and the hassle-free element of having our team there to ensure you want for nothing means you can focus on yourself to give you the best chance of successfully completing your course. All this and more for unbeatable value.
We offer spaces in our chalets for ICE students staying the week of the 28/29 November and 5/6 December. BASI Level 1 and 2 and high level recreational skiers
The Performance and Preparation course is an intensive week of training that is designed to boost your skiing up to its full potential. The course is delivered exclusively by ICE coaches who are trainers for BASI and know exactly what is needed to get your skiing to the next level, whether it is BASI level 2, or to simply get perfectly prepared for the winter.
Coaching is all day, everyday from Monday to Friday, with a strong emphasis on developing key skills, including carving, short turns, and accurate skiing in difficult conditions. In the evenings there is video feedback and presentations on various aspects of high performance skiing. There is also a strong emphasis on equipment selection and preparation, in Val D Isere there is the opportunity to test the latest 2012 skis and have a full check of your ski boot set up.
To get perfectly in tune for the coming winter, or to be sharp enough to pass your next BASI course, there is no better option.
It is the quality of training that sets ICE apart from all other courses . On no other course of this type will you receive top quality training exclusively from BASI Trainers qualified to train and examine to the highest level in their respective disciplines. ICE is not a tour operator and does not hire in specialist expertise for the exam parts of the course leaving training with local ski schools often out of the BASI loop.
Instead it uses a hand-picked team of highly qualified BASI Trainers for all of its training and examining throughout the course. This gives a synergy from Day 1 of the course to the final day and ensures that you will be thoroughly well prepared for your exams, giving you the best possible chance of success.
