Definitely the place for fashionistas and skiers who love style and fun, W Verbier mixes Swiss glamour and modern urban chic. It’s one of only a handful of places in the entire resort with ski in and ski out access, instantly giving guests 400km of pistes the minute you clip up your boots, and it keeps winning best ski hotel awards. The wood paneled façade doesn’t prepare you for the ultra contemporary interior, with slick design, funky lighting and an unrivalled amount of bars and restaurants. As soon as you walk through the doors, you’ll love the glamour and feel immediately at home. The service is warm and friendly and the mountain concierge desk can take care of any request – you can even WhatsApp for service. We love the variety of food here and think that the après ski is some of the best in town.

Accommodation

The names of the rooms and suites at W always make us smile – Cozy, Fabulous, Sublime and Extreme WOW… They all combine elements of Swiss touches (lots of splashes of red) and ultra contemporary design with mirrored bathrooms, marble flooring, Bose sound systems, Nespresso coffee machines and each one has the very comfortable signature W bed, with goose down duvets. Most have a balcony and needless to say, the views across the valley are awesome. Starting with the Cozy, which are all very spacious, these don’t have a view, but do have a balcony, a fireplace and a king size bed or two doubles. The Wonderful Rooms are identical, with a king size bed, but come with a partial view. The Fabulous Rooms have a king size bed or two doubles, have a large balcony and expansive views. These get better in the Spectacular Rooms, as you look right down the valley. Again, these rooms have amazing balconies. The Cozy Mega Family Rooms are really big and feature a king size and a single bed. Or for a view, opt for the Spectacular Mega Family Room. The Cool Junior Suites are all slightly different in design, but each one has an enormous balcony and are supremely comfortable. The larger Fantastic Suites have prime upper floor position, a roomy living area and look right out over the snowy peaks. We could quite easily move into one of the Sublime Penthouse Suites! Split level, with a king size bed and sofa bed, each one is a sophisticated mountain retreat. The WOW Two Bedroom Suite can sleep up to six, and is a jaw-dropping mix of chrome, wood, polished granite and style. With two bathrooms and a 30 square metre balcony, it has glamour written all over it. For film star living, the Extreme Wow Two Bedroom Presidential Suite, doesn’t get more incredible. With its revolving bed, private sauna and bar, you may never get to ski if you stay here! For larger parties or families, the Two and Three Bedroom Residences are more alpine haven in style, with free standing baths in the rooms, fully equipped kitchens, with some having bunk rooms for children.

Restaurants

Guests can expect more than your average mountain dining at W Verbier. Start each day with a freshly squeezed juice from the Artic Juice & Café, and come off the slopes at Off Piste for après, drinks and snacks.  From tapas at the bar in Eat Hola with delicious Spanish dishes by Michelin starred chef Sergi Arola, and mouthwateringly fresh sushi in Carve, to the W Kitchen serving inventive seasonal Swiss cuisine in its buzzy restaurant and terrace and the W Living Room with its cool cocktail bar, serving international cuisine to DJ tunes, we guarantee you’ll find your favourite spot.

Children

W Verbier loves to welcome families, with many suitable room and suite options. There are special kids menus and cots are also available to guests upon request.

Facilities

Curved marble walls, cool lighting and a pool with views, make for a very luxurious Spa. Even the gym makes you want to work out. There’s a good range of therapies and treatments, a private yoga space, hammam, Jacuzzi and steam room and heated indoor / outdoor pool.
