In our opinion, Le Blizzard is one of the most gorgeously decorated hotels in the Alps. There’s a very good selection of rooms and suites here, all of them spacious and equipped with TVs, a safe and minibar. Wooden panelled walls, snuggly throws on the beds, luxury bathrooms and balconies with views over the slopes or the village – each and every one is a haven to come back to after a day on the mountain. And some even have their own fireplaces. We will of course advise you on the best rooms for your group.

Guests have a good choice between Le Blizzard for both lunch and dinner and La Luge grill which specialises in Savoyard cuisine. Both use locally sourced and seasonal produce. You can also have dinner at the hotel’s sister property – La Mourra – a delicious Japanese restaurant. The bar at Le Blizzard has a rather good cocktail menu!

Don’t forget to pack a swimming costume when you come here – the outdoor pool with its mountain views is a must. There’s also a hot tub, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The Spa uses Clarins products and you can book morning yoga and stretch.
There are plenty of activities for both skiers and non-skiers on offer including; Skiing, Snowboarding, Ski Touring, Dog Sledding, Snow Shoeing, Snow Cat Driving, Snowmobile Driving, Sledging, Yoga, Pilates, Walking, Ice Climbing, Paragliding, Fat Biking, Horse Riding, Visit Aquasportif, Swimming or Spa, Hot Air Balloon Riding, and Helicopter Rides.

Le Blizzard is really family friendly – older children love hanging out at the pool table whilst parents linger over dinner and babysitting can be arranged for younger ones. Cots are provided for those under three and the family suites are especially roomy.

There’s no hibernation in Val d’Isère – summers are simply bursting with life! Whether it’s the miles of trekking and biking trails, or the more extreme canyoning and paragliding, there are plenty of activities to keep you satisfied. For those seeking pure relaxation, Le Blizzard’s spa provides a wonderful refuge. The mountain scenery is utterly divine, and the temperatures stay mild.
