Hideaway Type: A picturesque self-catered cottage located on the edge of the Thyme hotels estate.
Sleeps: Sleeps 4 – 6 guests (in one en-suite master bedroom and one double/twin room). 2 extra beds can be set up on the landing for children under the age of 12.
Location: Located in the middle of the quiet Cotswolds village of Southrop on the edge of the Thyme estate and nearby their pub, the Swan. Thyme is about a 90 minute drive away from London or a 40 minute drive away from Swindon train station, an hour’s train from London. Transfers to can be organised from London airports and the train station.
Facilities: Private walled garden. Use of Thyme’s facilities, please note there are age restrictions on other areas of Thyme including the spa, pool and Ox Barn for breakfast and dinner. TV, DVD player, Free WIFI, Tea- and Nespresso coffee-making facilities, Hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, travel cot and stair gate available on request.
Activities: It is about a slower pace of life here. Take part in a Cookery lesson. The Cookery school was born first and is the beating heart of Thyme. Get your wellies on and stomp around the garden and the farm, making sure you say hi to all of the animal residents or take a garden tour. Explore the local Cotswolds Villages. Take a set of bikes with baskets and follow the hand drawn map on a 5km tour of the estate. Relax in the gorgeous spa or take a floristry or cocktail master class.
Children: This hideaway is perfect for families and the only place children under 12 can stay whilst at Thyme.
Furry Friends: Old Walls is dog friendly. There is a £50 per stay fee for dogs.
Service: Babysitting can be arranged to allow adults to enjoy the facilities at Thyme.

Old Walls is a quintessential Cotswold cottage located in the heart of Southrop, just a short walk away to The Swan pub and a few minutes walk from Thyme. Spread over three, rambling floors this cottage is small but perfectly formed with sweeping views over Thymes farmland and green parkland. Old Walls is perfect for families with two double bedrooms (one of which can be twinned) and two bathrooms. There is a large bedroom-landing offering the option of a further two children’s beds. It features a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a well equipped kitchen and bright conservatory. The cottage is finished with a private walled garden that boasts far reaching views across the farm. Dogs and children are welcome here and baby or dog sitting services can be arranged if the adults wish to use the adult-only facilities at Thyme.
