Kyle House – The Scottish Highlands, Scotland
Kyle House is a small but perfectly formed luxurious retreat for two. It is the ideal den to sneak away to for a few days with a loved one, engulfed in the middle of Scotland’s raw nature. Previously derelict the exterior has been faithfully restored, with the light and breath-taking views shining in through the large deep-set windows, and the interior is exquisitely furnished with carefully curated quality materials.
Kyle House is located at the Southern tip of the Kyle of Tongue, cloaked in the wilderness it sits elevated in the wild landscape and enjoys stunning uninterrupted views along the length of the sea loch to the North. You really will feel in a world of your own here. Settle in after a day walking in front of the large open fire, burning wood sustainably sourced from the estate, take a hot shower or relax in the window-side bath looking out to Ben Loyal before setting into your comfortable bed which was purposely designed and built for the room.

Up the solid oak staircase, you will find some closet space, then the bedroom, with a king bed and views over the hills. The other side of the first floor houses a deep bath tup with views over the hills.

Self-Catered with weekly housekeeping. Guests will be greeted with a welcome hamper and the kitchen is stocked with some good staples, including salt & pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee, milk, butter and some pasta.

The kitchen has basic appliances for cooking and storing your food. Also on the ground floor is a W/C and shower room, a closet and a library and sitting room with a fireplace. There is a deep bath tup, W/C and shower.

The cottage is part of Wildland Ltd whose main aim is to restore and conserve natural landscapes and local communities so there are plenty of activities based around this. Embrace the great outdoors on Kyle Houses vast private grounds. Take one of the hiking routes, go trail-running or mountain biking on the special Fatboy bikes. Head to the stunning beaches, take a picnic. Take one of the fishing rods and fish in some of the best fishing water in the World. You can also go deer hunting or sailing on the Atlantic Ocean. Or just enjoy some downtime with a book and unwinding in a glorious setting.
