Location: Kennels Cottage is on Glenfeshie Estate in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It feels far away from the urban buzz but is in fact easy accessible from all major Scottish airports including Glasgow international, Edinburgh and Aberdeen – under 3 hours drive from the lodge. Inverness is the nearest airport a short 1 hour drive away and has excellent connecting flights. Transfers can be arranged for you.
Activities: Go hiking or walking, Salmon or Tout fishing, spend the day with an experienced game keeper who will take you for an unforgettable day out on the estate to find wildlife to shoot or admire, go freewheeling down a dirt track, enjoy the mountain bikes or swimming in an icy river, or just gaze up at the sky as a bird of prey soars high above.
Children: This cottage is perfect for families.
Furry Friends: Dogs are allowed to join you here. It is £20 per dog and a maximum of 2 dogs allowed.
Service: A self-catering cottage with twice weekly housekeeping.

Nestled within ancient Caledonian Pine forest in the stunning Cairngorm National Park and on the bank of the River Feshie you will find this beautiful self-catered cottage. Boasting breath-taking views of the Glen and the hills beyond, here you will feel fully immersed in nature. Restored and refurnished to be wonderfully comfortable with a blend of classic Scottish design and contemporary Scandinavian elements only using the finest craftsmanship. It features cosy living accommodation with the additional benefit of open fire in the living room and wood-burning stove in the dining room. The property sleeps six comfortably between 2 well appointed twin-bedded rooms upstairs and a double bedroom downstairs. In addition there is a quirky set of bunks available, which are suitable for additional children, by arrangement.
Kennels Cottage is the perfect cosy base to explore the wild landscape surrounding it. Relax in front of the roaring fire in the traditional leather wingback chair after a day of hiking, stalking or fishing on the estate.

The 45,000 acers of landscape boasts Ancient Caledonian woodlands intersected by sparkling rivers and lochs, surrounding a mountain-massif which is the most extensive and wildest of its kind in Britain. It is a place where Golden Eagles soar, wildcats prowl and red squirrels forage. Glenfeshie is home to plants, birds and mammals found in only a few other places.
