Good food is at the very heart of Fish&Pips, and our portfolio of hotels in the Three Valleys is no exception when it comes to fabulous cuisine.
From hearty breakfasts to tasting menus, from delicious local dishes to modern Italian, each hotel has been chosen for its approach to fresh and innovative cooking.
Our favourite Three Valley hotels are all food led and each one has its own unique style and menu. Breakfasts to energise you for a morning on the slopes, lunches on a sunny terrace, and dinners in comfortable surroundings with a good wine list, are all an essential part of a holiday on the slopes and each hotel offers an exceptional and tasty variety. We love the ingredients in Annapurna’s Altitude 1900, whilst La Table de Mon Grand Pere at Les Peupliers, is a gastronomic delight, with its own take on local Savoyard dishes. Their Au Burger d’a Coté is definitely a place to stop for lunch, especially with children. Close by at La Portetta, Cucina Angelina serves Italian influenced mountain food with locally sourced ingredients, in a relaxed and charmingly rustic setting. And one of our absolute favourites is the Fire and Ice bar on the terrace here, with its wood burning pizza oven. Breakfast at Les Allodis is a sumptuous affair, whilst lunch on its terrace with views across the slopes of Méribel on a sunny day, doesn’t get much better. If you’re staying at the Altapura in Val Thorens, you’ll be spoilt for choice with their three restaurants, serving elegant haute cuisine, fondue and raclette with regional cheeses from their very own cheesemaker, and the grill of the day out on the terrace – dining on top of the world!
