Our ‘Covid Guarantee’ offers peaces of mind to all our guests.
Dear friends of Fish&Pips,
Whilst the past few months have been challenging for the travel industry a ‘new normal’ is beginning to emerge and if you are ready to travel again then we are ready for you.
It is now more important than ever before to put your travel plans in the hands of people you trust and who can help you navigate the current uncertainty. This is where our travel experts are on the end of the phone before, during and after your stay. Your safety, confidence and enjoyment are the absolute priority for us. We have therefore put in place the following flexible cancellation policies to make sure you feel secure when booking a ski, sun or UK holiday with us.
Our Covid Guarantee – Méribel Chalets
We have amended our Terms and Conditions to offer guests to our chalets the maximum flexibility for the coming season and reassurance that in the unfortunate event that your holiday cannot go ahead, your money will be safe. We have reduced our deposit to 10%, then as before the balance of your holiday is then due 10 weeks prior to your departure. In order to give our guests total flexibility and transparency, should your holiday be cancelled for any of the reasons stated below, your balance is immediately fully refunded and your deposit payment automatically converts to a voucher for future holidays with Fish and Pips.
- If the FCO (Foreign & Commonwealth Office or country specific equivalent) advise against travel (including non-essential travel) to France;
- If you are required to quarantine upon arrival in France due to the laws and regulations of the French Government;
- If you are required to quarantine upon return to the country you are travelling from;
- If the chalet you have booked with us has been forced to close due the laws and regulations of the French Government in that country, as well as any other local or public authority;
- If France has closed its borders or is otherwise denying entry to visitors.
Please note: the above Covid-19 related reasons must be in place at the time that your booking is due to take place. Vouchers issued are for all ski chalet bookings and for selective bookings to our partner hotels, villas and hideaways (above £5,000 in value) only and are not chalet specific. These vouchers are valid until the end of the following winter season (April 2022).
Our Covid Guarantee – Hotels & Houses
All of the properties we work with have adapted and relaxed their booking and cancellation terms to give guests the confidence and peace of mind knowing their money is safe. For all our hotel, villa and hideaway bookings we are adopting the terms and conditions of the property at the time of the booking. Many of our properties are offering a full refund up to 24 hours prior to departure, but the details of terms are clearly stated in all correspondence both before booking and on booking with Fish&Pips. Each of our properties are following Government guidelines and have strict procedures and policies in place to ensure the health and safety of their guests.
