In the Alps it is full steam ahead with training and first guests. The temperatures have dropped, staff are trained up, supermarkets have been emptied and ovens preheated and F&Ps new chefs have cooked and tasted and cooked and tasted so much so the team are all feeling the pinch on their trouser waist bands! This got us thinking – we haven’t yet shouted enough about our sister business The Abinger Cookery School.
Nestled in to the Surrey Hills the school, known as The Abinger, has now been open 10 months. Veteran F&P chef Vinny heads up the kitchen, sometimes assisted by former Le Christophe chef Sam and sometimes by guest chefs – Adam Byatt of Trinity in London has even done a demo.
