BOOTFITTING
Personalised Rental Bootfitting

Renting ski boots shouldn’t be like renting bowling shoes, but far too often that’s exactly how it is! Most ski shops in Val just ask your shoe size (or if you’re lucky, measure one foot), and hand you a pair of boots.

Snowberry pride themselves on the quality of their boot-fitting and on the time and trouble they take to make sure everyone gets the RIGHT boots.

We can confidently say that Snowberry has one of the best rental boot-fitting departments in the world.

Ski Schools

We recommend three fantastic ski schools for our ski chalets in Val d’Isère – New Generation Ski & Snowboard School, Oxygene and TDC. All schools are of equal standard with English speaking instructors, but at the same time they all offer something a little different to fit our guests’ skiing needs. We can arrange lessons for you in advance or out in resort, alternatively you can book online. In busy times we do recommend that you book any lessons in advance to avoid disappointment.

Once the pisteurs have dropped you at the doctors this cover ends. Carré Neige is not a full insurance policy – it’s a top-up cover designed to act in tandem with your state or private health insurance. It will reimburse only those costs not covered by your main insurance. Comprehensive winter sports insurance should cover you without the Carré Neige, but do check your policy before travelling.
