Contrary to popular belief, we’re not just about the food at Fish&Pips! At our core we deliver the gourmet catered chalet experience. However, we realise some holidaymakers prefer more flexibility than a traditional catered chalet holiday. In answer to this we have ten high-spec self catering chalet-apartments, featuring all of the signature features of F&P without the restriction of regular meal times. We also provide the unique Fish & Pips Self-Catered Extras – details of which are listed below.
Our Self-Catered Chalets
First and foremost, we have carefully selected self-catered properties that are in line with our core values – great location (literally metres from the piste), comfort and all mod-cons. In fact, some of the facilities available are better than those of our catered properties – La Ferme, Chamois, Genepi, Rosa and Snowdrop with access to an indoor swimming pool, hamman and jacuzzi; the lovely Chalet Marmotte with all the benefits of Chalet Killy (located just above it) and Pierre with access to a heated outdoor pool. Last season we added Apartment Souris to our collection. This fantastic little 2/3 bed apartment in the heart of Val d’Isere (located in the same building as Chalet Killy and Chalet Marmotte) is the perfect option for an affordable self-catered break. We are also excited to introduce the stunning Chalet Imry in Val d’Isere this season – a newly built 6-8 bed luxury apartment, situated on the same road as Chalet Killy, Marmotte and Souris.
Our Self-Catered Upgrades
We have a range of upgrades for our self-catered guests, from mid-week cleans and a set-up shop to daily pastry delivery and oven-ready meals (we are excited to be partnering up with COOK this season to provide delicious oven-ready meals as part of our self-catered extras service). These extras are designed to enhance your bespoke self-catered experience to suit your needs and to eliminate the hassle factor that is commonly associated with self-catering holidays.
Our Self-Catered Service
We offer the same tailored concierge service for all guests before and during their stay. We aim to make the booking process as painless and personal as possible. We like to get everything in order as early as we can so when you arrive you can slip straight into holiday mode with nothing to worry about. We can help organise every aspect of your trip in advance and during your stay – ski school, transfers, ski hire, ski passes, your food preferences and anything else you can think of. Our personal concierge service is something we pride ourselves on and our customers value as an integral part of the F&P experience.
When you arrive in resort you will be greeted by a representative of F&P and showed to your new self-catered home for the week. You will be helped with your luggage; there will be milk in your fridge and tea and coffee in the cupboard. Your ski passes will be ready for you the evening of your arrival; ski hire will be delivered to the chalet or we organise for you to collect your skis; and our team will make sure you have everything you need.
If you arrive in the afternoon and want to ski then we will make sure you have everything in place to get you on the snow. Alternatively you can just sit back, relax and acquaint yourself with the chalet and the resort.
