Travel by Car

There is a strong case for travelling by car, loading your bags, children and kitchen sink in at one end, without the risk of losing a beloved teddy bear, or treasured pair of ski boots on the carousel at the airport! Ferry crossings are regular, as are the channel tunnel crossings.

It is approximately 8 hours from Calais to Meribel, about £45 in tolls, but at peak times traffic towards the Savoyard resorts gets very busy, bear in mind one road services not only the 3 Valleys, but Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs, to name but a few!
