Another tough day in the office…
Monday, March 16th, 2009As much as Holly wanted to sit in the office on the best powder day of the season, she was forced to get her skis on and head up to the Aiguille de Fruit with some fellow powder lovers…
She skied (badly) in the deepest and lightest snow she’s ever experienced, ‘face shots’ and all! Once conquering the Aiguille de Fruit, the side of the Chamrossa and under the Vizelle grinning the whole way, Holly and her powder gang finished off the gloriously sunny day off perfectly at the Soucouple
Even a dislocated shoulder can’t dampen the mood
Monday, March 9th, 2009When disaster struck last week and Nick, chef in Le Christophe, jumped off a kicker and dislocated his shoulder - you would have thought that he would be feeling pretty glum.
But the team came out in support - and all decided to pretend they had dislocated their shoulders -so Nick didn’t feel left out! What a team!
Just when we thought spring was here..
Monday, March 9th, 2009I was emailing Kevin, chef in Chalet Aurigny this afternoon, discussing how excited I am at the prospect of spring skiing, sun, deckchairs and chilled white wine in the Alps in 3 weeks time…. This was the image he sent back…..
All the email said….
“no deck chairs or wine… but it is chucking it down!!!”
